Hotel Food & Beverage Sports Club Spa
Birdwood Golf Course Administration
Responsible for cleaning guest rooms according to 4 Diamond Service Expectations. Must be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as well as holidays. Duties include but are not limited to cleaning up to 16 guest rooms per day, more if necessary as well as special projects as needed. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, lift up to 15 pounds; stand/walk/bend for 8 hour shifts, prioritize and organize your work. Understand guest's service needs and solve them proactively.
Loss Prevention Officer/Security, Full-time
Energizing safety throughout the resort; good eye for detail and safety hazards; outgoing and excellent service skills; works well under pressure and remains calm during stressful events; CPR a plus; good communication skills, computer skills and ability to utilize good judgment. Must have a valid Virginia vehicle operator's permit and clean driving record. Ability to work weekends and holidays, and cover different shifts as needed.
Tasks include, but are not limited to, cutting lawns; maintaining trims and edges around walks, flower beds, and walls; prune shrubs and trees; rake and bag leaves; cleans grounds and removes litter; shovels snow from walkways and parking lots; repair fences, gates, walls and walks; clean out drainage ditches and culverts. Some weekend work and whenever needed due to bad weather. Ability to work in weather extremes while completing physical labor.

Provide a high-level of customer service to all patrons in the Inn Store. Must have excellent customer service skills both in person and on the telephone. Work as a team player to ensure each guest receives the best service possible. Produce revenue and help maintain store and stock room. Perform monthly inventories with retail team.

Banquet Captain, Full-time
Oversee all physical components of Banquet functions and assist in the services of all Banquet functions occurring within scheduled shift. Delegate tasks to all Servers to execute functions based on information from Banquet Event Orders. Must have a minimum of 5 years previous serving experience in a comparable environment; Clean, valid Virginia driver's license; ability to communicate in English, both oral and written. Set-up and break-down various meeting rooms and Banquet events to include meal and corporate meeting set-ups. Work with Banquet Servers to ensure a seamless transition during Banquet "flips." Assist the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in the daily planning and production of all meals served from the Kitchen. Essential qualifications: Knowledge of large volume food preparation. At least 2 years Culinary experience at a Four Diamond Restaurant/Hotel. Basic leadership knowledge and problem solving skills. Ability to comprehend, read, write and speak English. Fitness Director, Full-time
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Fitness department and effectiveness of all programs, including the Group Exercise Programs. Develop quality fitness programs, events and activities that will assist members of all ages in achieving their fitness goals. Drive revenues, provide a safe environment with continuous team member training and education, and develop training standards for quality control by research, marketing and training Sports Club staff. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Exercise Science/Exercise Physiology or related field with previous experience in both Personal Training and Aerobics. Exceptional customer service skills are needed along with at least three years of experience as a manager.

Must hold a current certification in any genre of yoga practice. A current CPR certification is required.
Teaching Tennis Professional, Full-Time
Exceptional opportunity for a driven professional to make positive impact among a diverse facility of members and guests at a variety of levels. USTA, Junior Clinics, and adult lessons/clinics experience a must. Extensive playing background and experience with high performance juniors/college players desirable, as is USPTA/PTR certification. Exceptional customer service necessary. Computer skills required for billing – necessary for Boar's Head automated system .
Step Class Instructor, On-Call
Experienced and energetic step instructor needed to teach Saturdays 9-10am. Must have at least two years teaching experience and a primary aerobic certification to apply. Possible sub opportunities on Tu/Th at 8:30 am.
Member Service Agent, Part-Time
Must greet each member/guest, offering them any assistance they may need. Responsible for answering and handling all incoming calls to the sports club, making tennis reservations, pro shop sales, general housekeeping, and four-diamond customer service standards. Requires use of the resorts fully automated computer system and excellent communication/customer service skills. Schedule varies, weekends and holidays are a must.
Public Space Cleaner, Full-time & Part-time
Responsible for the daily up-keep of all public spaces at The Sports Club. Duties include cleaning all locker room areas and additional bathrooms, stocking towels and paper supplies, vacuuming all carpet areas, cleaning all glass and mirrored surfaces, dusting all furniture and fixtures and other tasks as needed. Maintain contact with several different cleaning agents and work in coordination with other Housekeepers and Sports Club staff. Prior Housekeeping experience is preferred. Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work weekends, holidays and additional hours during special events. Must have knowledge of chemical and cleaning supplies.

Create and conduct safe, effective exercise leadership for BHSC members and guests. Must be cycle certified through an accredited certification and CPR/AED certified.

Create and conduct safe, effective exercise leadership for BHSC members and guests. Experience teaching Step, Hi/Lo, Kickboxing, Boot Camp, and other group fitness classes. Must be Group Fitness certified through an accredited certification and CPR/AED certified. Class schedule varies.
Spa Manager, Full-time
Direct and coordinate Spa activities, including the direction of Front Desk Receptionists, Nail Technicians and Massage Therapists, to ensure adherence to Boar's Head Standards of Excellence. The Boar's Head Spa has 6 treatment rooms, a nail salon, and hydrotherapy room. Provide treatments to guests that visit The Boar's Head Spa according to 4 Diamond Service Expectations, while excelling in customer service and satisfaction. Assist Spa Director in the direction and coordination of the Spa. Must have the following certifications: National Certification/NCBTMB or State of Virginia Board of Nursing Certification; Virginia Licensed Esthetician. Both are required to be considered for the position. Minimum 2 years prior experience as a licensed therapist. The Director of Operations, Full-Time
The Director of Operations will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the hotel including Housekeeping, Front Office, Spa, Loss Prevention, Engineering, and Retail. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of progressive combined experience in hotel rooms operations; a minimum of 3 years as a Director of Room Operations or Director of Resort Operations; a Bachelor's Degree in Business or a Combination of experience and education; excellent communication skills; ability to work through various resort departments to accomplish goals; self-motivated and promote a positive work environment; experience in facilitating change in a hotel or resort preferred; experience with Food & Beverage operations preferred.
IT Specialist, Full-Time
The IT Specialist reports to the IT Director and will provide technical assistance to end-users relating to computer and/or networking services and procedures. The IT Specialist will analyze and troubleshoot network related problems and assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software systems. The IT Specialist will also ensure property compliance with all PCI-DSS standards. Strong planning and communication skills and the willingness to work on IT related projects with property team members are necessary for this position. Tier 1 Help Desk experience including troubleshooting Windows based PC hardware and software issues. Windows XP, Windows 7, Exchange 2010 Client set up, Norton Ghost (or other cloning technology), Windows Server 2003 and 2008 Administration. Windows based PC Computer hardware, software set up, configuration and testing. Windows XP to Windows 7 migration. Experience with a Cisco switched network, current wireless technologies, basic networking concepts and fundamentals including but not limited to IP addressing, DNS, Arp, DHCP, Active Directory and WINS. A working knowledge of PAR Springer-Miller Systems, Micros, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Delphi and other Hospitality software is a plus. Schedule is primarily weekdays 9 – 5 and periodic on-call weekends.
