Chef de Cuisine, Full-time
Develop all A La Carte dining menus under specific area of duty. Manage and organize Culinary and Steward Staff. Achieve established guest satisfaction ratings and meet budgeted goals for Labor and Food Cost. Must have high school diploma or Culinary Associate degree; a minimum 5 years experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Hotel Restaurant Chef, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in multiple outlets, and managing multiple team members; Serve Safe Food Sanitation certification or willingness to become certified; ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Schedule varies.
Line Cook, Full-time & Seasonal
Assist in the daily planning and production of all meals assigned by the Chef de Cusine, Sous Chef and/or Cook I. Must have at least 1 year Culinary experience at a Four Diamond Restaurant/Hotel; American Culinary Federation Certified Cook/Culinarian; State Food Handler Certification; Knowledge of CPR or First Aid.
Outside Service Representative, On-Call
Responsible for the entire golf cart fleet and driving range operations, including all related functions. Essential job functions include, but are not limited too: Clean golf carts completely, fill sand bottles and close rain covers, properly store and charge golf carts, retrieve and wash range balls from driving range, properly pick-up and store range baskets. Must be at least 16 years old with a valid drivers license, strong communication skills, able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy. Basic golf knowledge and previous experience working at a golf course preferred.
Nail Technician, Part-time
Provide treatments to guests that visit The Boar's Head Spa according to 4 Diamond Service Expectations, while excelling in customer service and satisfaction. Must be licensed by the state of Virginia. Previous experience and wax technician license a plus.Flexible schedule, weekends and holidays a must.
Security Officer, Full-time
Patrol areas of the resort including parking lots, buildings and grounds to assure safety and security. Prevent damage to, or loss of, company and employee property. Must have a valid Virginia vehicle operator's permit and clean driving record. Be at least 18 years old. Ability to work weekends and holidays, and cover different shifts as needed.Previous security guard and customer service experience desirable, basic computer skills, along with American Red Cross First-Aid/CPR/AED certification.Schedule varies 10 hour shifts.
Backwaiter, Part-time
Assist servers in the restaurant by providing exceptional quality Food & Beverage service according to 4 Diamond Service Expectations. Must be polite, and have a friendly manner when interacting with customers, have the ability to work quickly and efficiently to provide prompt service, the willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, and have at least 3 months of customer service experience.
Old Mill Room Server, Full-time
Provide exceptional customer service to guests dining in the Old Mill Room by taking orders, serving guests, satisfying guest needs and following 4 Diamond Service Expectations. Qualifications include, but are not limited too: Minimum 1 year of serving experience in a fine dining restaurant; ability to up sell by having full knowledge of food, wine and spirit offerings to guests; polite, friendly demeanor; willing to follow rules for sanitary food service; ability to work quickly and efficiently to provide prompt, effective service; ability to operate Micros to enter orders and prepare checks; ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required; at least 21years old to serve alcohol. Bistro Server, Full-time
Provide exceptional customer service to guests dining in Bistro 1834 by taking orders, serving guests, satisfying guest needs and following 4 Diamond Service Expectations. Must have a minimum of one year serving experience in an upscale restaurant, have the willingness to follow rules for sanitary food service, the ability to operate Micros to enter orders and prepare checks. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required, and be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol. Schedules are 1:00pm 9:00pm, 3:00pm 11:00pm, 5:00pm close.
Buffet Runner, Part-time
Responsible for setting-up and maintaining the breakfast and lunch buffets in The Old Mill Room. Schedule is 6:00a.m. 3:00p.m. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required, have reliable transportation, and the ability to communicate in English. Previous experience working in a restaurant preferred.
Facilities Manager, Full-time
Manage the maintenance of all the mechanical, plumbing and electrical, (MP&E) systems throughout the resort. Manage the Engineering Department by providing leadership, mentoring and training for all team members. Establish and maintain preventative maintenance programs for all equipment, systems, guestrooms and public areas/general maintenance. Distribute and follow-up on work orders. Participate in effective safety programs. Coordinate and implement capital MP&E improvement projects. Manage outside contracts and functions of the Engineering Department. Must have at least 5 years previous experience in Facilities Management within the Hospitality industry; previous experience repairing and rebuilding related mechanical equipment, pumps, motors, AC units, etc.
Banquet Chef, Full-time
Direct all activities of the Banquet Kitchen. Ensure the quality of the product, consistency of the food presentation, proper product handling and achievement of budget. Perform all administrative duties and maintain all cost percentages as determined by the annual budget in order to achieve the profitability of the department. Must have at least 3 years formal Culinary school; at least 5 years working all stations in a Kitchen including: Station Cook, Tournant, Saucier, Butcher and some experience in Garde Manger; 3-5 years supervisory experience as a Banquet Chef in a high-volume luxury Hotel or Resort. Schedule varies.
Human Resource Manager, Full-time
Ensure that team members are trained to deliver excellent guest service to The Boar's Head's guests by designing, developing and implementing key training initiatives. Coordinate training across the resort to ensure consistency and implementation of training plans. Manage compliance and adherence to company policy resort wide thorough training development and conflict resolution.
OMR Manager, Full-time
Manage the daily operation of The Old Mill Room Restaurant, Bistro 1834 and Room Service to ensure quality of service, proper staffing levels and budget achievement. Must have AA Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Administration or equivalent experience; 3-5 years in Hotel/Restaurant, Room Service or Lounge experience; At least 3 years supervisory experience; Technical knowledge of all types of cuisine and styles of service; Extensive beverage background; Ability to interpret profit and loss statements and produce monthly forecasts and yearly budgets; Ability to effectively manage Human Resource duties and maintain positive Labor Relations; Computer proficiency and knowledge of Micros System; Excellent guest relations skills and strong organizational and administrative skills. Schedule must be flexible, based on business demands; weekends and holidays a must.
Food & Beverage Manager, Full-time
Supervise and service The Boar's Head Banquet functions. Coordinate activities with other departments related to events and assure compliance to the specifics of the event orders to guarantee complete customer satisfaction. Essential qualifications: A minimum 2 years experience as a Banquet Manager in a high-volume, high-quality organization; complete knowledge of Banquet operations & technical knowledge of all types of cuisine and various types of service. Ability to analyze and interpret profit and loss statements and budgets. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Willingness to work evenings, early mornings and weekends.
Floor Staff, Part-time
Outgoing, customer service oriented individual needed to greet members and guests, demonstrate proper use of equipment, lead teen workout programs, and clean equipment. CPR/AED certification and previous fitness experience needed. Saturday 7:00am 11:00am; Sunday 7:00am 11:00am & 1:00pm 6:00pm; Wednesday 4:30pm 7:00pm.
STOTT Pilates Reformer Instructors, Part-time & On-Call
Experienced Instructors needed to conduct safe and effective exercise leadership to expand our existing program for BHSC members and guests. Reformer groups are guaranteed and the potential for one-on-one sessions as well. Must be STOTT Pilates Mat certified through an accredited certification and CPR/AED certified. Early mornings, evenings and weekend availability a plus.
Hostess, Full-time
Provide exceptional guest service in a 4 Diamond Restaurant by greeting, receiving and seating guests, handling telephone calls, taking reservations, satisfying guest needs and following 4 Diamond Service Expectations. Previous customer service experience essential. Schedule varies which include nights, days and weekends.
Public Space Cleaner, Part-time
Responsible for the daily up-keep of all public spaces at The Sports Club. Duties include cleaning all locker room areas and additional bathrooms, stocking towels and paper supplies, vacuuming all carpet areas, cleaning all glass and mirrored surfaces, dusting all furniture and fixtures and other tasks as needed. Maintain contact with several different cleaning agents and work in coordination with other Housekeepers and Sports Club staff. Prior Housekeeping experience is preferred. Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work weekends, holidays and additional hours during special events. Must have knowledge of chemical and cleaning supplies.
Childcare Provider, Part-time
Provide and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children to grow and learn while offering creative, athletic and educational activities. Must be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma and a minimum of six months experience working with groups of children. Ability to perform light office duties and record keeping required. Experience with children from infant to 12 years of age, and experience in a state regulated program recommended. Planning experience a plus. Must be able to work weekday mornings and Saturdays.
Member Services Agent (Front Desk), Part-time
Must greet each member/guest, offering them any assistance they may need. Responsible for answering and handling all incoming calls, tennis reservations, pro shop sales, general housekeeping, and four-diamond customer service standards. Requires use of the resorts fully automated computer system and excellent communication/customer service skills.Schedule varies, weekends and holidays are a must.
Banquet Server, On-Call
Serve food and beverages to clients at various Banquet events including coffee breaks, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Essential qualifications: At least 2 years of previous serving experience, have a polite and friendly manner. Neat, clean appearance and willingness to follow rules for sanitary food service. Ability to work quickly and efficiently to provide prompt service. Responsible for arriving to work on-time or early for scheduled shift, in all weather conditions and as called upon. Willingness to work evenings, early mornings and weekends as required. Ability to communicate in English effectively. Schedule varies, as business dictates.

From Route 250, turn into the main entrance of The Boar's Head (Ednam Drive), then immediately turn right onto Boar's Head Lane. Proceed to the right to Boar's Head Lane Building #7 which is a two-story brick building. Human Resources is on the first floor, first door on your left upon entering the building.
